We are proud that part of the CCC is a little museum - The Community Cultural Museum. We happily accept small donations if you enjoy the museum tour. A knowledgeable guide will:

Show you artifacts from the Yaxuna archaeology site and interpretations of dramatic happenings there in ancient times.

Lead you through information about the Yaxunah colonial period including the haciendas and the 200-year-old village church.

Show you representations of and teach you about customs and ceremonies celebrated in the community both now and in the past.

Demonstrate how children, young people, and adults of the community are working to preserve their natural and cultural environment while articulating with the demands of the modern world ever present in their daily lives.
